Jessie James Decker is speaking out in support of her younger sister, Sydney Rae Bass, who was forced to clean up her children’s mess on a United Airlines flight.
Sydney’s husband, Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Anthony Bass, went viral on Twitter after posting about the incident over the weekend.
“The @united flight attendant just made my 22 week pregnant wife traveling with a 5 and 2 year old get down on her knees to pick up my youngest daughter’s popcorn mess. Are you kidding?!?!” Anthony tweeted.
Most people responded by supporting the flight attendant.

In a stale Instagram Story, Jessie vented about the situation.
“My sister @sydneyraebass just texted me from her flight on @united. As you know, she is five months pregnant, she is at high risk and she is also traveling alone with her two young children. Blaire accidentally spilled popcorn in the aisle, and the flight attendant approached Sydney with a garbage bag and a wet wipe, telling her that the captain wants Syd to clean up every drop,” she said (via People).
She added: “My poor sister is on her knees, crying in the hallway, completely humiliated and exhausted, with her children while everyone else looks on. Way to go, United.”
Jessie also revealed that United gave the girls the popcorn.
“Guys, all this time I’ve been thinking that this popcorn is something that Sydney just bought from the little kiosk. Sydney had two flights, and United, on the first flight, they gave them both popcorn,” he said. “If popcorn is a danger, why do they give it out on planes?”
