Jeremy Renner is feeling blessed as he approaches the one-year anniversary of his near-death snowplow accident.
“Passing through Reno, NV, with joy, blessings and [pizza]!!!!” he wrote alongside a photo of him riding in his official “Rennervation Foundation” van. “I stopped by to see kids/superheroes, first responders, doctors, nurses and staff from Renown Hospital paying my respects and celebrating love, life and the blessings it brings to us all. Thank you and this community for keeping me here…I will always be gratefully indebted to you.”
Jeremy Renner hopes to return to acting in 2024
On January 1, 2023, the Marvel star was run over by his personal snowplow. Renner was helping to dig up a car when he noticed the snowplow, which was parked, moving toward his nephew Alex. He was quick to push Alex out of his way and was hit in the process.
Jeremy Renner suffered more than 30 broken bones. In the following months, he underwent several surgeries. Doctors had to reconstruct his ribcage with metal rods. And now he has metal plates in his face to help support his damaged eye socket. He also has titanium rods in one of his legs and had to relearn how to walk. He is still recovering today.
“I’ve been exploring EVERY type of therapy since January 14th…every day,” she explained in a November 6 post. “Countless hours of physical therapy, peptide injections, IV drips and pushes, stem cells and exosomes, red/IR light therapy, 2.0 atmosphere hyperbaric chamber, cold immersion, the list goes on and on…”
Today, Jeremy Renner is going through the worst of his struggles. He hopes to return to acting very soon.
Tomorrow, the 52-year-old will celebrate the official anniversary with the release of a new album titled Wait. He calls the project a “musical diary” that tells the “story of life, death, recovery, everything learned along the way.”
