Jennifer Lopez is giving fans an inside look at how she rang in 54!
The entertainer celebrated her birthday on July 24 and it looks like she had the best time with her family and friends.
Jennifer sent out a new “On the JLo” email blast to fans in which she shared new details about the party and provided a peek inside through some videos. Noticeably, Ben Affleck‘s children are blurred out in the video while all the other guests are visible.

“Thank you all for the birthday love. Here’s a lil peek into my party. Ben hosted it at our new house with our closest family and friends. All the kids were there, it was a gorgeous day full of sunshine and perfect for a pool party!! I felt so appreciated and acknowledged by my loved ones, and I’m extremely grateful to be where I am today at this point in my life’s journey with so many beautiful, caring people to share it all with. Wishing you all the same love and happiness on your birthday and always!!!” Jennifer shared in the email.
She added, “I always liked having my birthday in July! The weather is warm and balmy and the mood is more relaxed. Who else has a summer bday? How’s your summer going?”
Jennifer was likely following Ben and his ex-wife Jennifer Garner‘s wishes to keep their three kids – Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel – out of the public eye. Garner was one of the most outspoken celebs in fighting against paparazzi taking photos of children.
Many news outlets, including JustJared.com, adopted a “No Kids Policy” back in 2014 and vowed to not share photos of the children of celebrities unless they were from official events or the celebs’ own social media posts.
Garner told ET in 2014, “Because of you all taking the stand and saying, ‘You know what, this is gross,’ everyone has fallen in line and it is just going to change everything for my kids and I can’t thank you enough. It was so out of hand … I told my daughter, maybe someday people might not know what she looks like. My kids were so excited to think of that because they don’t want this at all and I don’t want it for them, so I’m thrilled for them.”
