Sources say the 54-year-old actress is struggling to cope with Matthew Perry’s death.
Jennifer Aniston has been deeply affected by the passing of Matthew Perry, according to a source who spoke with Page six.

The 54-year-old actor’s assistant found him dead in the jacuzzi of his home in Pacific Palisades. The death was a national surprise after he was seen just a few hours ago and in “good spirits” at the pickleball court he frequented.
Aniston is one of four surviving cast members of Friends following his untimely death, which has been ruled out as accidental drowning until more details emerge.
All cast members were present at Perry’s funeral which took place on Friday, November 3.
“Of the remaining five, Jen and Courteney [Cox] “They’re floundering the most, and Jen is probably the one struggling the most,” the same source revealed.
“It is the second massive loss in less than a year, as the first anniversary of his father’s death is just around the corner. She still hasn’t fully recovered from that, and now this has just completely floored her.”

The meeting took place at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Los Angeles on a Friday, a stone’s throw from the Warner Bros. studios, where they had spent a decade filming the iconic NBC sitcom.

Although the cast came together to reflect on Perry’s life, they chose not to attend the private burial ceremony because it was reserved for family and close friends. Before his death, Perry spoke openly about his struggle with addiction. She praised Aniston for checking in on him from time to time.
“She was the one who came closest. You know, I’m very grateful to her for that,” Perry said, referring to Aniston in an October 2022 interview with Diane Sawyer.
Perry also shared that it was Aniston who confronted Perry about her addiction problem after it began to affect her and her co-stars’ performance on the set of Friends.
Perry also revealed that he once had a crush on the Cake Actress. The two met through mutual friends three years before starting to work on comedy. In her memoir, Perry shared how Aniston gently let him down when he tried to shoot her.
