JB Smoove is a famous American actor, comedian and writer. JB Smoove is known for his starring roles on HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm (2007-present) and the CBS sitcom The Millers (2013-2015).
Early life
JB Smoove was born in December 16, 1965, in Plymouth, North Carolina, United States of America. His birth name is Jerry Angelo Brooks and he holds American nationality. Additionally, JB Smoove is currently 57 years starting in 2022 and believes in the Islamic religion. Likewise, he belongs to the African American ethnicity and has the birth sign of Sagittarius.
Smoove is the son of Floyd Brooks (father) and Elizabeth Brooks (mother). At the age of three he was raised in Mount Vernon, New York. Furthermore, he has two younger brothers. When JB was 15, his father died of diabetes.

Since 2007 he regularly plays Leon Black in the HBO comedy ‘Curb Yur Enthusiasm’ (from the sixth season). In addition, he got the role of León in this television series after his time on SNL.
