She came into limelight with the reality TV show ‘Bigg Boss 3 Kannada (2015)’ and was eliminated in the second week of the show. In 2019, she acted in the Kannada film ‘Kannada Gothila’ and in the same year, she was featured in the Kannada music video ‘Oledalappo’. Before committing suicide in 2021, she was shooting for the Kannada film ‘Shiradi Ghat’.

On Sunday, 24 January 2021, he committed suicide at his residence in Pragathi Layout in Magadi Road, Bengaluru, and his body was recovered on 25 January 2021. Local police said in an interview,
The actress was found hanging in a room of her residence at Pragati Layout in Magadi Road in the city. The actor’s body has been sent for postmortem and the police have started investigation.
Earlier on July 22, 2020, he had shared a post about his depression.
I quit. Goodbye to this bullshit world and depression.”
Later, she deleted the post and shared another post saying,
I am fine and safe!! Love you all.”
On July 25, 2020, he shared a live video on his social media account in which he talked about his depression, he said,
I am not doing all this for publicity. I do not expect financial help from Sudeep sir also. I am only expecting my death because I am unable to fight the depression. I am financially strong but disappointed. I am going through many personal issues. I have been betrayed since childhood and am unable to recover from it.
According to some sources, she was admitted to an old age home, and was in a rehabilitation home for treatment of her depression.

- While talking about his mother during an interview he said,
My mother is my pillar of strength and she is always with me through thick and thin. I always take his advice before taking any important decision.”
- She was a supporter of the All India Women Empowerment Party, established on 12 November 2017.
- In 2019, she filed a police complaint against her maternal uncle for physical and sexual harassment, she said,
We were having some property dispute. I went to my uncle’s place with my mother yesterday to settle this matter. But he misbehaved with me and threw us out of the house in the middle of the night. He has been physically and sexually harassing me like this since childhood. He used to beat me with shoes.”
At the same time, his uncle has denied all such allegations.
