He became the head coach of the Seadogs in 2003 after working in several managerial positions in the minor leagues from 1999 to 2001.

In high school, Jason played in the fall league for Frank Niles Jr. In his sophomore year at Duxbury, he began visiting the Hingham clubhouse and taking extra hitting and catching practice. He began his career at SSBC as a member of the second team on the spring tour of Florida, then became a counselor at SSBC’s camps and clinics.

Jason has been a catcher his entire playing career, and during his senior year at Southern New Hampshire, he earned the team’s 10th player award with a .350 average. Jason previously served as Director of Stadium Sales and Operations for the Richmond Braves. He also served as assistant general manager of the Fayetteville Swamp Dogs, the varsity summer league club.
