Proving that mom knows best, Jason Kelce revealed why his wife Kylie didn’t leave him in charge while she went to Milan Fashion Week.
During the last episode of his new heights On the podcast, Jason was asked by his brother Travis if Kylie left her eldest daughter Wyatt in charge during Milan Fashion Week.
“I mean, Wyatt’s always in charge,” Jason joked. “You try to keep her from being in charge. I try to discipline her. It’s just difficult. It is difficult to reason with someone who has no reasons.”
Jason Kelce’s brother, Travis, later said that Wyatt is one of his favorite people to “people watch.” He also noted that he loved watching her play with her little sister Elliotte.
Remembering what his father Ed Kelce got Elliotte for his birthday, Travis said Elliotte and Wyatt went crazy over it. He said he warned Wyatt not to shoot Eliotte and to be careful. However, his older niece ended up shooting her younger sister in the side of the head.
“’Oh no, Wyatt,’ I said don’t do that… [but I saw] the slow turn, and the smile, the joy [on her face]“Travis hilariously recalled. “Ellie was having a great time. She cried for about two seconds and then shot again!
Jason Kelce later stated, “That’s why Kylie didn’t leave me in charge of the girls because there would have been a lot of that. I wasn’t alone with the girls for more than two or three hours at any point during the weekend. Grandma stayed over, Kylie’s mom, thank you… she’s crazy.”
Although he can handle his older daughters, Jason admitted he needs help with the baby. “It’s really the baby, the baby that for some reason I’m not as adept at handling. I try.”
Jason Kelce was happy that Kylie could go to Milan Fashion Week
Although her mother-in-law and nanny had to put in “a lot of extra time” to help get through the week, Jason Kelce said he was happy Kylie was able to go to Milan Fashion Week.
“She doesn’t really spend any time away from the girls,” Jason said. “So between Las Vegas for the Super Bowl and then Milan Fashion Week, it was incredible. She went out with her friend. Killing him!”
Kylie’s trip to Milan came just before Jason Kelce announced his official retirement from the NFL. She played for the Philadelphia Eagles for 13 years. During the press conference on Monday, March 4, Jason spoke about the support of his wife and children at all times.
“I think it’s no coincidence that I’ve enjoyed the best years of my career with Kylie by my side,” Jason said. “All the praise I have received from her has come with her in my life. “She has brought out the best in me through love, devotion, support, honesty, intelligence and of course a quick kick in the butt from time to time.”
Jason Kelce went on to praise Kylie for giving him three beautiful daughters and a life that “increasingly” brings him more satisfaction off the field than on it.
