The Kansas City Chiefs faced the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday. With Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce getting a chance to advance to his third Super Bowl, his entire support system was there. This included Travis’ brother Jason, who happens to be the star center for the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Chiefs won the game 17-10 and have a date with the Super Bowl in Las Vegas next month. After the victory, Jason was noticeably excited for his brother, who had a chance to become a three-time champion. Travis’ brother had a strong message for him after the victory.
“Finish this son of a bitch,” the Eagles center said.
Jason Kelce wanted to jump the tables at the Bills game
Jason Kelce has become a fixture at Kansas City Chiefs games since his Eagles were eliminated in the Wild Card Round earlier this month. Last week, during Kansas City’s Divisional Round matchup against the Buffalo Bills, he went viral.
Kelce was caught on CBS cameras drinking beer in a private suite that also included Travis’ girlfriend Taylor Swift and Jason’s wife Kylie. Kylie also revealed that Jason wanted to participate in an old Bills fan tradition by jumping on a table.
“I wanted to have the full Bills experience. I’m sure as a Bills fan you know that they are known or famous for their tailgating abilities. I will say that I desperately wanted to walk through a table. It was on his checklist for the day, the top priority of the day, to check a chart,” Kelce told Good Morning America.
“He didn’t have the opportunity to do that. And so, when she walked into the suite (we arrived separately because she was meeting some friends and walking through the parking lot, I think, hoping to find a table), she was unsuccessful.”
Travis Kelce goes viral before Ravens game
Travis Kelce followed in his brother’s footsteps and went viral on Sunday. But in his case, it happened before the game even started. During pregame warmups, Travis and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes got into a fight with Ravens kicker Justin Tucker.
Tucker was warming up in an area designated for Chiefs players while Kelce and Mahomes practiced. That led the pair to throw the Ravens kicker’s equipment into another area.
After that, the three of them engaged in a lively discussion. The moment went viral on social networks.
Travis Kelce told Justin Tucker that he needed to move because his QB Patrick Mahomes had to warm up. Then Kelce kicked his ball and threw his helmet. 😂 pic.twitter.com/pFF0DC1yA7
