After the divorce, people started calling her ‘divorced girl’ and even her parents started considering her a burden. When they got divorced, his parents decided to marry him again. This time she told her father that she would talk to the boy and get to know him well before marriage. After meeting the boy, she told him everything she had gone through in her first marriage. She liked the man and married him. On the first night after marriage, she came to know that her husband was addicted to cocaine. He slapped her, tied her with chains and raped her repeatedly. He told her not to tell anyone about this. She remained silent and a few months later she found out she was pregnant. When she told her husband about her pregnancy, she was kicked in the stomach. He continued bleeding for a few hours and his mother took him to the hospital. Doctors suggested him surgery. He talked about this in an interview and said,
The doctors said that the fallopian tubes had ruptured and I would have to undergo surgery to avoid blood loss and keep the baby alive. I got the surgery done, but at five weeks, I lost my baby and soon after, my husband called me to file for divorce. I was completely dead inside to process any of it. But I had decided that I would not let him get away with what he had done.”
When she returned from the hospital, her husband asked her to sign the divorce papers. She decided to divorce him but also filed an FIR for domestic abuse. Her husband was immediately arrested.
