Jamie Foxx is on the road to recovery.
On Wednesday (April 12), the Oscar winner’s daughter Corinne Foxx, 55, took to social media to reveal that her father is on the mend after experiencing a “medical complication” the day before.

“From the Foxx family: We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday,” Corinne, 29, wrote on Instagram.
“Thankfully, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery,” Corinne continued.
“We know how loved he is and we appreciate your prayers,” Corinne concluded her message. “The family requests privacy during this time. Much love, the Foxx family.”
So far, Jamie’s family has not shared any other details about what type of “medical complication” he suffered. Corinne has also disabled her comments on her post.
