The Hollywood Reporter noted that celebrities such as Cate Blanchett, Leonardo DiCaprio, Cameron Diaz and Naomi Campbell are mentioned in the documents. However, the only reason they appear is because they were mentioned in a statement by Johanna Sjoberg.
Johanna was a victim of Jeffrey and worked with him. During her deposition, she was asked if she had ever met the aforementioned celebrities. Her answer was no. It seems Jeffrey mentioned them in passing after speaking with these stars.
Other public figures Johanna mentioned were Kevin Spacey, George Lucas, Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, Michael Jackson and the magician David Copperfield.
The only stars I remembered meeting in person were Michael and David. Furthermore, nothing he said about the other public figures mentioned inappropriate behavior.
We will likely continue to learn more about these documents as we examine them more closely.
Looking ahead, it is also important to remember that just because someone is named in documents does not mean they are guilty of criminal activity.
Another popular star has slammed false rumors about her visit to Jeffrey Island.
