Developing government threatens freedom
That is still in my memory. Because anyone who follows government knows that once they crave more power, they usually don’t give it up.

Until her emergency powers were found to be unconstitutional for most of 2020, Governor Gretchen Whitmer ruled the state unilaterally. Then she went to the state health department to give essentially identical instructions.
Recall that just a year ago, the state of Michigan workplace inspectors were drafting enduring regulations mandating the wearing of masks and other safety measures on a permanent basis. Fortunately, they were abandoned.

At the federal level, overreach is even more apparent. It also started before the current administration.
