Morgan Wallen’s son, Indigo, was taken to the emergency room over the weekend after he was bitten by a rescue dog owned by his mother, KT Smith.
On Monday (June 19), the country star’s ex-partner took to social media to explain what had happened to their two-year-old son in a tearful video.
She revealed that her son was bitten but would recover after receiving several stitches. KT also had a fan request.

Taking to her Instagram story, KT explained that her rescue dog, Legend, bit Indigo in the face, which required a trip to the ER for stitches.
“He had stitches, but he’ll be fine,” she said of her son, adding that he might have a small scar.
KT addressed his followers with a question about Legend. While he acknowledged that many encouraged her to put the dog down, he said that was not an option for her. Despite that, she knew that she couldn’t keep him in the same house as Indigo, as the boy might be dealing with trauma.
“I thought I would ask them if they knew of any place that wasn’t a shelter, because I don’t think he deserves a shelter either because he was coming from trauma from being left on the side of the road for months,” she said. saying. explained. “I’m taking Indigo back home tomorrow and he has to leave by then and I can’t leave him either because like I said he doesn’t deserve it either.”
He returned with an update on the dog a few hours later.
“Just wanted to update you guys, but also thank you all for all the help and support,” she wrote in a post on her Instagram Story. “We just left Legend with the sweetest family where she will live her full potential and her best life on a farm. I couldn’t have asked for a better family for him to love, and they’re from East Tennessee, so we can visit anytime we need to.”
