Guillen was born in Houston, Texas on September 30, 1999 to parents Rogelio and Gloria Guillen from Mexico. She enlisted in the military in June 2018 after graduating from César E. Chávez High School. She loves sports activities like soccer and running. According to reports, Guillen told her mother, Gloria, that she had been sexually assaulted by a sergeant at Fort Hood.
