Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness end their marriage.
On Friday (September 14), Hugh, 54, and Deborra-Lee, 67, announced in a joint statement that they were separating after nearly 30 years of marriage.

“We have been fortunate to share almost three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful and loving marriage,” Hugh and Deborra-Lee shared with People. “Our journey is now changing and we have decided to part ways to pursue our individual growth.”
“Our family has been and always will be our top priority. We take on this next chapter with gratitude, love and kindness,” Hugh and Deborra continued. “We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family goes through this transition in all of our lives. This is the only statement any of us will make.”
Hugh and Deborra-Lee married 27 years ago, on April 11, 1996, after meeting the previous year on the set of the Australian television series. Corelli.
Together they share two children: Oscar, 23, and Ava, 18.
Hugh and Deborra made their last public appearance together in May at the Met Gala 2023.
