Famous comedian Trevor Noah hosted the Grammy Awards last Sunday. And after an eventful evening, Noah’s performance earned mixed reviews. One of Noah’s critics was famous radio host Howard Stern. Stern was not necessarily critical of Noah in his performance evaluation. Instead, he showed empathy for the position he was given as host.
“I think he’s in a tough position, Trevor Noah. I felt really bad for the guy,” Stern said. “I think he did what he had to do. He had to sit there and tell everyone how great they were. You have to.”

After having arguably the best year of her career in 2023, pop superstar Taylor Swift was the dancing queen at the Grammys. Swift also tapped into another world when she started dating Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce last year. But Swift’s coverage during games is something that has particularly disturbed NFL fans. Noah talked about her speech during one of his Grammy monologues.
“I think it’s very unfair how NFL fans have complained about the cameras being on Taylor Swift as if she was controlling the cameras in the game. Let her live,” Noah said.

With Taylor Swift and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce as the hottest new thing, it naturally gained some unexpected new fans. Particularly from the world of sports. One of those new fans is one of the biggest personalities in sports media, Stephen A. Smith.
During an appearance on The Howard Stern Show, Stern insisted that Kelce needed to marry Swift to maintain his newfound fame. But Smith quickly dismissed that claim.
“He’s a two-time Super Bowl champion and he’s about to potentially be a three-time Super Bowl champion. He is universally recognized as one of the greatest tight ends in the history of football,” Smith said.
“He’s a handsome guy, he has style, he has talent. He has skills. He has a future in [the media] once he retires from football.”
