Connor Walsh was written as Patrick Donahue in the first draft of the Shonda Rhimes show’s pilot episode.

Falahee also said that he found it very awkward to film the sex scenes that made the film too sexy. There are a lot of love scenes, and understandably the actors are shooting in front of the camera and a stunned crew.
