Hilarie Burton is coming to the defense of her friend Sophia Bush for the second time this week, this time after she was accused of being the other woman in Chad Michael Murray’s relationship.
If you missed it, Erin Foster recently alleged that Chad cheated on her with Sophia in “a pretty egregious way.” She even hinted that it happened while they were living together.
As the news circulated, Hilarie took to social media to set the record straight.

On Friday (October 20), Hilarie responded to the rumors on her Instagram Story.
“Phew. Cringe. I got off my red-eye flight home and several people had sent me this headline. Like the person who had a front row seat then? This wasn’t all,” she wrote via Us Weekly.
He explained that the situation was presented to the cast of Hill of a tree different, claiming: “They told us all that they had broken up and that’s why our boy was examining [SIC] his.”
“Now this is being made up to make my sister look like a shameless whore. And if she’s someone’s whore, she’s mine,” Hilarie joked. She added that she was “happy to discuss” her situation with Erin to help her understand what happened.
Regarding additional rumors about Sophia, Hilarie added: “There are so many anonymous sources making claims about the woman I love, so fuck it. I will be a named source. Many voices on the Internet are unpleasant and like the person who knows the real timeline? “It would be ridiculous if it weren’t so painful.”
Hilarie recently opened up about defending Sophia amid rumors of a new romance with Ashlyn Harris.
