Aaron tore his Achilles tendon during the first official game of the season on September 11, and the injury occurred just moments into the game.

When asked about the timeline of his injury and how he may not be able to return this season, Aaron said in The Pat McAfee Show, “Give me the doubts, give me the schedules, give me all the things you think can, should or will happen, because all I need is that extra little percent of inspiration. That’s all I need. So give me your doubts, give me your predictions and then watch what I do.”
