Harry Styles’ mum opens up about his rise to fame and what’s changed

Harry Styles has risen to fame, but has it gone to his head? Not according to his mother, Anne Twist!

The 29-year-old mother of the “Watermelon Sugar” singer spoke in an interview, addressing how fame has changed him over the years.

“He’s the same old man,” he told the Daily Mail. “When I was a very young boy, he was much the same as he is now, only a smaller version.”

She added that when he comes to visit, the first thing he will do is go to the kitchen and “open the fridge” for a snack.

“As for the music, I think it’s because he’s very true to himself. He takes his influences from what he feels, from what he listens to, from what he likes. He’s not thinking, ‘Okay, I need to make this song for this particular demographic.’ He does what feels right to him and seems to be universally appreciated,” he went on to say.

“I am very proud of both Harry and his older sister Gemma and the adults they have become. They are both very hardworking, have good morals and are very kind people,” he added.

“I know it sounds like a terrible cliché, but as long as they’re happy, that’s the most important thing.”
