In 2017, Hamid Nader participated in the 10th edition of the Asian Kabaddi Championship held in Gorgan, Iran, in which the Iranian team won the bronze medal. In 2018, Hamid Nader participated in the Dubai Kabaddi Masters, a Kabaddi series that was held in the United Arab Emirates. He represented the Iran national team, which won the silver medal at the tournament. In the same year, he participated in the 2018 Asian Games which was held in Jakarta, Indonesia and Hamid’s team won the gold medal in the tournament.

In 2023, Hamid participated in the 11th edition of the Asian Kabaddi Championship held in Busan, Republic of Korea, in which the Iran team won the silver medal in the championship final. In the same year, he was bought by Hyderabad-based team Telugu Titans for Rs 13 lakh for the 10th season of the Pro Kabaddi League held in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. His tackle strike rate was 33% and raid strike rate was 200% throughout the tournament.
