Halsey splits from her record label 1 year after TikTok call

Halsey and her record label Capitol Records are going their separate ways.

The 28-year-old “Without Me” pop star has been at Capitol for eight years.

However, she called them out in 2022, claiming that the label was blocking the release of a new song until she engineered a viral moment on TikTok.

Capitol reaffirmed their commitment to Halsey and allowed them to release their song “So Good” a week later.

Now, both Halsey and the label are speaking out about their decision to part ways.
