The Halloween Cookie Challenge, a new show on the Food Network, will premiere September 26 at 10:00 PM ET. Designed specifically for Halloween, the show aims to promote unusual cookie baking methods for this dreaded time of year. The first season of the Halloween Cookie Challenge will run for six episodes and challenge contestants to bake Halloween-themed cookies. At the end of episode 6, the contestant who impresses the judges will be crowned the Champion of the Halloween cooking contest and receive a big cash prize.
According to the official synopsis of the show:
“Halloween, candy won’t be our only delicacy. Professional chef Jet Tila and baking queen Rosanna Pansino bring together four of the country’s top cookie makers to compete in two rounds of 3D baking, decorating and cookie making to determine who makes it. Scary cookies! The winner will receive a $10,000 bag of candy as well as the title of Halloween Cookie Champion.”
Chefs Rosanna Pansino and Jet Tila, who will also be judges on the show, will present the Halloween Cookie Challenge. Rosanna is a baker and YouTuber, while the Jet star is a chef and restaurateur. This is their first time working together.

Each episode of Season 1 of the Halloween Cookie Challenge will feature five contestants. There will be a contest to make the most beautiful and delicious Halloween cookies. Each hour-long version of the show will include challenges that make the competition more challenging. In addition to creating cookies of a certain shape, the participants will get to taste them. The contestant who wins all the missions in six episodes will become the champion and receive a cash prize of $10,000. The competition will run in two rounds for the first episode of the Halloween Cookie Challenge, with Halloween Costumes and Haunted House themes.

In the first round, the contestants will take on the challenge of creating two outfits out of dough. This round is described in the official episode summary as follows:
“Halloween is approaching, so don’t worry if you haven’t decided what to wear! In the first round, hosts Jet Tila and Rosanna Pansino commissioned four skilled cookie bakers to make two exclusive outfits out of cookies!”
To spice up the second round, the contestants will have to create a 3D cookie structure. In addition, the cookies will have to have a unique taste. This round is described in the episode synopsis as follows:
“Things get spooky in the second round as the cookies create 3D haunted buildings. They use spirits such as black raspberry liqueur, watermelon liqueur, apricots and orange aperitifs to ensure their performance is incredibly flavorful.”
