Sharing the photos on Instagram on Wednesday (May 17), Jake confirmed that he got down on one knee to propose to Nicolas. It happened earlier this month, May 8 to be exact.
That’s just a few days after the actor celebrated her boyfriend’s 25th birthday. In the caption of a sweet post, he noted that they met five years earlier.
Jake’s co-stars Nancy Travis and Tiera Skovbye had sweet reactions to the engagement news.
“These photos feel so intimate and special. Thanks for sharing, it makes me feel like I’m there. You were definitely the most beautiful people in the mountains that day! xoxo,” Nancy wrote.
