In August 2021, he was selected for the Punjab state team for the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy camp. On 14 December 2021, he played his first ODI for Punjab against Goa in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and took 1 wicket for 62 runs. On 20 December 2022, he played his first Test match in the Ranji Trophy for Punjab against Railways and took 4 wickets for 16 runs in the first innings.
