Gulnur Tumbat is a Turkish-American athlete, teacher, amateur mountaineer, and ultramarathon runner from Turkey. Since 2005, Gulnur Tumbat has served as a professor in the College of Marketing at San Francisco State University.
Early life
Gulnur Tumbat was born in Denizli, Türkiye, in the year 1975. She has dual Turkish and American nationality and is currently 49 years. He currently lives in San Francisco, California.

He attempted to climb Mount Everest in April 2014, but was unsuccessful as the climb to the summit was officially stopped due to a large avalanche. On May 21, 2018 she made another attempt and became the first Turkish woman to climb Mount Everest from Nepal.
In December 2023, he achieved the seventh of seven summits by climbing Mount Vinson, the highest mountain in Antarctica.
