Gurpreet Singh Gora, better known as Gangster Gora, is an Indian history-sheeter, associated with the Billa Gora group. He is the brother-in-law of Canada-based gangster Goldie Brar. Reportedly, Gora was involved in plotting the murder of Punjabi singer-turned-politician Sidhu Moose Wala.

Meanwhile, special surveillance was immediately arranged at check posts across the area and a team of special staff of Jalandhar Rural Police was able to nab the car-borne attackers.
A case was registered against Gora under sections 392, 212, 216 A, 506 and 120-B of the IPC and sections 25, 27 of the Arms Act at Bhogpur police station and further investigation in the case was underway.
Accused of murder of Rana Sidhu
On October 22, 2020, a gangster named Ranjit Singh alias Rana Sidhu was shot dead by four armed men in Aulakh village on the Muktsar-Malaut highway. The murder was apparently committed by Canada-based gangster Goldie Brar, who claimed responsibility for the murder of Rana Sidhu through her Facebook account. Suspecting Gora’s involvement in the case, Punjab Police brought Gora from Faridkot jail to Malout on a production warrant, from where he was produced in the court. The court ordered Malout police to take him on remand for two days.
Involvement in the murder of Gurlal Singh Pehalwan
Gurpreet Singh Gora was also accused of murdering Youth Congress district president and Zilla Parishad member Gurlal Singh Pehalwan in Faridkot in February 2021. After some evidence came to light against Gora, he was lodged in Hoshiarpur jail. Reportedly, jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi was the key conspirator in the wrestler’s murder.

Sidhu Moose murder case
On 29 May 2022, Punjabi singer and Congress leader Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead by some unknown assailants in Mansa district of Punjab. He was shot dead a day after the Punjab government reduced his security cover. At the time of the attack, Sidhu was traveling with his cousin and friend, who also sustained injuries. Following his murder, Indian gangsters Goldie Brar, Lawrence Bishnoi and Sachin Bishnoi claimed responsibility for Sidhu’s murder through their respective Facebook accounts. The name of Goldie’s brother-in-law Gora had come up during the interrogation of suspected murder mastermind Lawrence Bishnoi by the Punjab Police. Subsequently, Gurpreet was taken to Hoshiarpur police in Mohali and handed over to the Anti-Gangster Task Force, Punjab for questioning. Later, Gora was taken to the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) police station in Kharar, where the SIT interrogated him about his links with Canada-based gangster Goldie Brar and jailed Indian gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Although the authorities have not given any information about Gora, but some sources claim that Gora and Neeraj were aware of the plan that was made to eliminate Sidhu Moosewala.
