Angie Turner, the daughter of golden bachelor Star Gary Turner shares his thoughts on his recent split from Theresa Nist.
In a post on Instagram, Angie acknowledged that Gary and Theresa’s split sparked a “variety of emotions and opinions.” The couple had only been married for three months before breaking up. They hadn’t even lived together yet.
“I love how engaged people were with the program,” Angie said of the golden bachelor fans. “What an experience to have you on the trip!”

“My dad and Theresa are kind, good people who made this decision for themselves, not for anyone else,” Angie wrote. “I kindly urge everyone to remember that behind every story there are real people with real feelings.”
Angie went on to praise those who showed love and compassion to Gary, Theresa and their family during this difficult time. “Thank you from the bottom of my heart,” she added.

During an appearance in Good morning america Earlier this month, Turner and Nist officially announced their plans to divorce.
“Theresa and I have had several heart-to-heart conversations and have taken a close look at our situation – our living situation,” Gary explained. “And we have come to the mutual conclusion that it is time to dissolve our marriage.”
