Gisele Bündchen is shutting down rumors that she cheated on Tom Brady and calling their new relationship unequivocally unique.
In a recent interview to promote her cookbook, the supermodel candidly shared that she remained faithful to Brady before their divorce in 2022.
“That’s not true,” Bündchen told the New York Timesrefuting accusations that she began a relationship with her jiu-jitsu coach, Joaquim Valente, before splitting from the retired NFL star.
“I really don’t want to make a tabloid out of my life,” she continued about the infidelity rumors. “I don’t want to open myself up to all that.”

Gisele Bündchen also acknowledged the unfair criticism she received after her breakup with Tom Brady.
“This is something that happens to many women who are blamed when they have the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship and are labeled as unfaithful,” she reasoned. “They have to deal with their communities. “They have to deal with their family.”
Because their relationship was high-profile, she believes she faced additional scrutiny. “Of course, for me it is a bit amplified,” explained Bündchen.
Ultimately, behind the rumors and gossip, only two people know the truth, the supermodel and cookbook author insisted. “No one really knows what happens between two people, only the two people who are in the relationship,” she noted.

Meanwhile, he opened up about his current love, whom he knew as a martial arts teacher before their romance blossomed. “This is the first time I’ve seen someone who was a friend of mine,” she revealed about jiu-jitsu coach Joaquim Valente.

Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady filed for divorce on October 28, 2022, ending their 13-year marriage. The court officially dissolved their marriage the same day, calling it “irretrievably broken.”
The couple initially crossed paths in December 2006 during a blind date orchestrated by mutual acquaintances. They have two children together: Benjamín, 13, and Vivian, 10.
Additionally, Brady is the father of her son, John “Jack” Edward, from his previous relationship with Bridget Moynahan.
Meanwhile, Tom Brady is reported to be casually dating Russian supermodel Irina Shayk.
