Ghislaine Maxwell, an associate of notorious businessman and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, will be the subject of the documentary.
Lisa Bryant and Maiken Baird directed Ghislaine Maxwell: Filthy Rich. Lisa Bryant is known for directing Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich and producing television series such as Gone: The Forgotten Women of Ohio and Unspeakable Crime: Jessica Chambers, among others. Meanwhile, Maiken Baird directed the 2012 sports documentary, Venus and Serena.

Ghislaine Maxwell: Filthy Rich’s trailer was released on October 27, 2022, and begins with an informative voiceover contrary to conventional wisdom.

It then shows clips of interviews with a number of people. They include those involved in the legal proceedings against Ghislaine Maxwell, as well as Epstein survivors such as Annie Farmer. The trailer features footage from Maxwell’s trial as well as photographs taken of her over the years. The clip, which maintains a firm tone throughout, also questions why Ghislaine Maxwell was not arrested at the same time as Jeffrey Epstein. Who is Ghislaine Maxwell?
Ghislaine Maxwell is the youngest daughter of the late British media billionaire and politician Robert Maxwell. She was a social celebrity in the 1980s due to her father’s fame and wealth, which made it possible for her to socialize with London’s elite. Ghislaine moved to New York when her father died in 1991, where she met Jeffrey Epstein. They had a relationship for a short time and although it ended, they remained close friends for decades. Maxwell had essentially disappeared from the public eye by the time Epstein was arrested in 2015.
Maxwell, wanted by the FBI for aiding Epstein, has also been cited on numerous occasions by survivors who have accused her of setting them up for Epstein’s abuse. Ghislaine Maxwell was arrested in 2020 and later convicted of five of the six counts against her, receiving a 20-year prison sentence. Maxwell is currently in prison.
