Srinu Boddupalli, better known by his stage name Getup Srinu, is an Indian film actor, stand-up comedian and television presenter who predominantly works in the Telugu entertainment industry. He got the name ‘Getup’ due to his appearance in various getups in the Telugu TV comedy show Jabardasth and its extended version, Extra Jabardasth. In the show, he imitates Telugu film actors in Sudigali Sudheer’s team. He is also known for hosting the show Cinema Chupista Mama on ETV Plus. Apart from his TV career, he has acted in several Telugu films such as Rangasthalam (2018), Zombie Reddy (2021), and Waltair Veeraiya (2023).

Srinu Boddupalli was born on Wednesday, 12 December 1984 (age 38 years; as in 2023) in Chinamilipadu village of Akividu mandal in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. Coming from a humble background, his parents came to Kalingagudem as migrant laborers from Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh. Srinu grew up in a small farm next to a canal in the village. Till 10th class he studied in Siddapuram High School. He completed his intermediate from Dumpagadpa Government College. Growing up, he would accompany his parents to work where he would imitate fellow workers for fun, making everyone laugh. He moved to Hyderabad for better opportunities.

In 2013, Srinu Boddupalli came into limelight with the Telugu sketch comedy show Jabardasth. Later, he also appeared in the extended version of Jabardasth, Extra Jabardasth. He received nicknames like ‘Jabardasth Srinu’ and ‘Getup Srinu’ for his various get-ups while performing comedy sketches in the show. He is also known as ‘Bulli Tera Kamal Haasan’ (Kamal Haasan of the small screen).
