Gehna was born on Wednesday, 16 June 1993 (age 30 years; as in 2023) in Chirimiri, Chhattisgarh. His zodiac sign is Gemini. He completed his schooling from DAV Public School, Chirimiri. Later, she joined All Saints College of Engineering from where she earned a B.Tech degree in Computer Science.

He was born in a Hindu Brahmin family. His father’s name is Ravindra Tiwari, who was an education officer. His mother’s name is Sita Tiwari. Gehna has three siblings – a sister Namrata Tiwari and two brothers Vedant Tiwari and Sankalp Tiwari. Her grandmother is the retired principal of Arera Convent School. After dating Indian actor Faizan Ansari for a few months, the couple got married on 11 June 2023. They followed Muslim marriage rituals.

He started his career as a model. Shehryar Khan, a TV personality, approached her for a modeling project with ‘Monte Carlo’. She has worked as a model for various brands like Philips Arena, Chevrolet Cruze Car, Dreamstone Jewelery and Palak Sarees. He has worked in more than 70 advertisements. She was seen as an anchor in the show of Sahara One channel. In 2010, she appeared in Zee TV’s serial ‘Behenin’.

She has appeared in various Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil films including ‘Daal Mein Kuchh Kaala Hai’ (2012), ‘Lucknowi Ishq’ (2015), and ‘Peigal Jakkirthai’ (2016).

controversies
- In July 2012, she sparked controversy with a photoshoot in which she wore a bikini with the national flag of India wrapped around her waist. He violated the norms outlined under the ‘Prevention of Insults to National Honor Act 1971’.
- In 2017, he made controversial remarks against Bigg Boss 11 contestants Arshi Khan and Priyank Sharma.
- On February 7, 2021, the Property Cell of the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police arrested him for uploading adult videos on a website. According to a senior police officer of Mumbai Police, the actress has been into this practice for a long time, and she runs a website where she has uploaded more than 87 such videos.
- Following the arrest of Raj Kundra by Mumbai Police in a pornography-related case on July 19, 2021, Gehana, who was out on bail in the same case, released a statement which read –
The law will take its course. We have full faith in Mumbai Police, but they should not mix porn with erotic or bold content. We have always said that Mumbai Police is the best force in the world. The courts will ultimately decide during the trial who are the real culprits and who among the arrested accused were merely used by others.”

- On 24 November 2019, she suffered a severe cardiac arrest while she was shooting for her web series. She was working continuously for 48 hours and was not even eating properly. After being on ventilator for 2-3 days, she started recovering. He was admitted to Defense Multispeciality Hospital in Mumbai.

He is suffering from diabetes and his sugar is high, while his BP is very low. We were told that she had consumed some energy drinks and was also taking medicine for diabetes and some other illness. We are not sure if there was any reaction between what he ate or not. We have to wait for the results of all the tests.”
