  • In an interview, Gail Nicole told how much preparation she had done for the Miss United Continents pageant. He said,

I was in the top three in the Femina Miss India pageant. The organizers decided that I should represent India at Miss United Continents 2014. This was the first time that the competition was going international. I took training regularly from various experts and professionals. I took a two-hour Pilates training with Sameer Purohit and followed a strict diet – I had to eat something every two hours to improve my metabolism. I got ramp walk training from Alessia Raut, pronunciation training from Sabira Merchant and smiling tips from Sandesh Mayekar and many more. A national competition mainly requires you to improve your gait and speech, but an international competition demands much more. International competitors are far more confident and capable. Luckily, I didn’t have any weight or body issues, but I still had to work on my speech, movement, and my communication skills.

Two days ago, I was stuck in traffic in Mumbai to attend an event, and I saw an ambulance carrying someone seriously ill and was trying desperately to find a way out of the traffic. . I could see that no one was prepared to make way for the ambulance, which made me really upset. What happened to humanity? Human life has no value. Also, the negative attitude towards rape victims troubles me. Why do we want to know what the victim was wearing or who she was with? Can’t we look into this inhuman act and try to find a solution? No one dresses a certain way to get raped. A low skirt or bright lipstick is not an invitation to rape.

  • According to Nicole, feminism means,

Feminism is important; This is the need of the hour. During the competition I realized that there are many professions where women are yet to make their mark. In my home state Goa, not many young girls are encouraged to take up modelling. Some of them have personally thanked me for being an example and inspiring them.”

  • She says with the mantra of success- ‘Never underestimate your talent. Believe in yourself and be positive at all times.
  • She gave advice to young girls and in an interview she said,

Don’t enter a beauty pageant because you want to work in movies and television. Consider it as a platform where you get a chance to represent your country and exchange your culture with the world.”
