Fred White A Veteran Drummer Passed Away At The Age Of 67

Fred White, a veteran drummer, died on January 1 at the age of 67. He rose to fame as a member of the American rock band Earth Wind and Fire. Verdine White, Fred’s brother and a member of the band, expressed his grief posting several pictures on Instagram and commenting that the family couldn’t stand their terrible loss. He said that Fred is now in heaven with Maurice, Monte and Ronaldo.

“Child prodigy, member of EWF ORIGINAL 9, with a gold record at the age of 16!” He is the fourth child in the family. But more than that, he’s a lovable brother, always funny and deliciously mischievous at home and everywhere else!”

Verdine goes on to say that Fred White is one of those people who can turn a bad situation into a good one. He ended his statement by saying that the late drummer “will stay [their] hearts forever” and thanked him for his “love, blessings and support” throughout the years.
