Is Fred Talbot gay? Talbot claimed that he recognized that he was gay when he was 14, without a wife. Stone Roses TV forecaster Ian Brown has come under fire for allegedly exposing homosexual pornography and teaching children how to masturbate. Mr Talbot reminded the jury that one of the Gateshead victims was 16 when they had their first sexual experience, not 14 as alleged. Fred Talbot convicted of indecent assault
Talbot was arrested by authorities in April 2013 after he refused to answer questions during an investigation into the men’s allegations that they were abused as youths. He was arrested again in December 2013 and charged with 10 previous sex crimes. He was charged with another sexual assault in June 2014. On 13 March 2015, Judge Timothy Mort of Minshull Street Crown Court sentenced Talbot to five years in prison.
Talbot was told he will not be eligible for parole for at least another 2.5 years. Talbot appeared in a Scottish court on 11 March 2016, when he was charged with two counts of public disorder and ten new charges of indecent assault from 1968 to 1981. He remained silent during the hearing. Talbot was a teacher at Altrincham Grammar School when he was found guilty of seven counts of indecent assault on the boys during a trip to Scotland in May 2017. After serving half of his previous sentence for indecent assault, he was sentenced to four years in prison starting on the 14th. August at Lanark Sheriff Court on 15 June 2017.
On 29 November 2017, Talbot was sentenced to eight months in prison for a second sexual assault on a man over the age of sixteen after admitting the offense at an earlier hearing. Talbot’s sentence ended in December 2019.
