Forza Horizon 5: How to Solve The Sustainable Energy Treasure Hunt

Sustainable Energy” is a Treasure Hunt in Forza Horizon 5 featured as a Challenge during the Autumn Season. Completion of this Challenge will reward players with 3 Points in the Festival Playlist, including some Forzathon Points. The Treasure Hint of “Sustainable Energy” states, “In Guanajuato, EV charging points are every 15 seconds but 100 are maintained.” Some players may solve this Treasure Hunt straightaway, while this objective might leave other drivers in Forza Horizon 5 moderately confused.

To get started, Forza Horizon 5 fans must head to Guanajuato, a town in Mexico located on the northeastern side of the map, east of Caldera and south of the Hotel Castillo Player Home. To solve “Sustainable Energy,” drivers must maintain a speed of 100 miles per hour for at least 15 seconds. While any electric car can be used to fulfill this challenge, fans are recommended to use the Ford Mach-E 1400, which is the vehicle featured in the picture of the Treasure Hunt in Forza Horizon 5. This rare Mustang was obtainable for free by completing the Horizon Story, “Drift Club Mexico.” Conversely, those who did not do this story need to build the Horizon Drift Outpost.

While the route that drivers will take to complete the challenge will depend on individual preference, players are encouraged to start on the eastern outskirts of Guanajuato in Forza Horizon 5. The road from the Calle Principal Speed Trap to the Plaza Circuit Road Racing Event is notably straight, making it quite easy to reach and maintain 100 miles per hour for 15 seconds. Moreover, fans are recommended to have their game online to reduce the amount of traffic that will spawn within the town.

Sustainable Energy Treasure Chest Location In Forza Horizon 5

After completing the Treasure Hint’s challenge, a large orange circle will appear on the eastern side of the Guanajuato map, indicating where the Treasure Chest is located. If players view the “Sustainable Energy” window in the in-game menu, they will see a visual hint of where the chest can be found.

To find the “Sustainable Energy” Treasure Chest in Forza Horizon 5, drive to the Universidad de Guanajuato on the right side of Guanajuato. Look for a street with a row of street food stalls down the middle of the road. This location is also decorated with colorful hanging banners. If players travel southward from the City Escape Finish Gate and take the second right at the first intersection, they should be able to encounter the chest.

Forza Horizon 5 is available for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
