“A lot of people have been asking me, ‘When is Public Enemy getting together?’ We never separate to meet. We just took a long break,” he told TMZ.
Flav added that “there were never really any problems” between him and Chuck D.
“There was no beef,” he said. “I love my partner, man. And I know he loves me too. You know what I’m talking? Sometimes, you know, you don’t agree on everything. One thing about Chuck and I is that we always manage to come together to agree and keep moving forward.”
Public Enemy performed together for the first time in more than five years in September.
