One active party member must have the Steal Materia equipped (recommended to put it on Aerith). Battle the Eligor boss and use the Steal command to steal the Bladed Staff. The Bladed Staff increases Aerith’s strength and magic as it is upgraded. This is one of the more obscure weapons to find in the game.
