There’s a lot of useful currency in Final Fantasy 14, and throughout the game’s development we’ve had several hunting-related currencies that have been around since A Realm Reborn.
If you’re new to all of this, you’ll have to start with the level 50 quest Let The Hunt Begin provided by your Grand Company. You can then start fighting various monsters around the world, alone or with allies, and earn tokens to buy exclusive items.
If you’ve participated in The Hunt, Clan Hunts and Veteran Clan Hunts, you should be well prepared for The First’s opponent, Nutsy Clan Hunts. This currency has a different name than what you’ve had in the last few expansions, as we no longer use Source.
Instead of Centurio Seals from Heavensward and Stormblood, you’re dealing with bags of Nuts.

The best way to earn seeds
When it comes to Nuts, there really aren’t many tricks or get-rich-quick schemes to get you out of trouble.
Of course, if you focus on the daily, weekly quests and follow the server’s hunting community, you can still get them steadily.
Guild Mark Notes
Every day at Reset, you can check the Nut Board in The Crystarium (Temenos Rookery) or Eulmore (The Mainstay) for your One-Nut, Two-Nut and Three-Nut bills. These markers cover all six areas of Norvrandt (Lakeland, Kholusia, Amh Araeng, Il Mheg, Rak’Tika Greatwood and The Tempest).
Checking all 15 points on the bill (5 points each) will net you 110 bags of nuts for the day. This can take a lot of time to teleport and kill monsters, which I can’t always do if I’m busy that day. If you only have time to buy three beads bills, you can still earn 75 bags of beads for those 5 tokens.
Finding your daily marker is an activity that can easily fill the queue for duty or to attend a party. If you’re still in the area doing Pixie Beast Horde quests or can collect on timed nodes, you can effectively make it part of your routine as well.
Nutsy Mark Bill Elite Clan (Level B)
After each weekly reset, you can also check Nutboard to see which B-class Elite tokens you’re tasked with destroying. These markers are pretty easy for players with level 80 ability, and each zone has two markers.
Killing a B rank player that’s not on your weekly bill doesn’t give you any rewards at all, so you can ignore them (or/notify their location to anyone in the game). area may need it for their bill). They are not hostile mobs, so you don’t have to worry about accidentally provoking them.
If you’re not sure exactly where your markers are on the map, check out their possible stomps here. Don’t be afraid to ask quickly/loudly if anyone in the area sees it.
Excellent grades (A and S grades)
If you’ve completed the daily and weekly Mark Bills, the only other way to get a bag of seeds is to find and destroy the higher ranked Elite Tokens. If you’ve ever walked into an area and seen people shouting “inv pls” it could mean someone found an elite marker and people are rallying against it.
Sometimes people also call them to centers like Eulmore or The Crystarium if they want to gather more people. These battles are much harder than the B rank, and most of the battles I’ve been in have at least one team working together.
At rush hour, there are usually three or more parties and it ends quickly. Your team’s contributions are counted collectively, so in these cases you really want to join the team to make sure you’re rewarded with points.
These A- and S-level marked locations are also found on web maps, and generally have more possible locations than B-levels. Each A-rank has its own respawn timer from 4 to 6 hours, while rank S respawns after a few days and has special respawn requirements, listed in the link above.
As long as your server has one or more active link-hunting shells, you don’t need to worry about monitoring these timers yourself. If you can find one of these, then you’ll see a message calling them out when they’re found. You can simply teleport to the appropriate Ethereum and request to be invited to the party. Of course, you have to get to a job at level 80.
If lucky enough to go all the way through the train, these players will travel to each area of the Shadowbringers, killing each region’s elite marker. For example, a class A train will kill two class A in each of the six zones, giving you a total of 240 bags of seeds. It takes 20-30 minutes to complete the run, depending on the number of players participating.
Grade A rewards you with 40 bags of seeds, while rank S will give you up to 100 bags. The extremely rare SS-Level Forgivable Rebellion has a chance to spawn after killing an S-rank and if you’re one of the lucky few to come across and defeat it you can walk away with another 400 bags of seeds .
What should I spend?
You can buy it from two vendors. There’s Ilfroy in the bush of Eulmore by The Mainstay Aethernet Shard [11.0, 10.8] and Xylle by The Temenos Rookery Aethernet Shard in The Crystarium [9.4, 9.5].
Here’s a quick look at what you can buy with bags of nuts and what types of items they are.
Now, what kind of Nuts should you buy that you worked so hard for? It obviously depends on how much you like the game. Many players enjoy collecting mounts and minions, especially those that they enjoy.
Other players may just want to have their gear ready and ready for a raid as quickly as possible, so they might as well choose to help.
i440 melting device
In addition to the list in the image above, these vendors also have options to show you Ronkan DoW and DoM sets, which can be helpful if you’re new to level 80. This is just a small step towards upgrading your gear. your free i430 Job and will be replaced soon, so keep that in mind if you want to stick with Nuts.
If you’re looking for glamor, you’ll probably love the aesthetics of these clothes and that’s the only way to get them. Fortunately, they are quite cheap.
i460 Deep Shadow Gear
As of patch 5.4, you can now purchase the Deepshadow set from Clan Nutsy Vendors. If you need to get through a level 80 MSQ dungeon, this is a quick option to increase your average item level, but is sure to be overtaken by Fable, Apocalypse, or even dungeon gear.
For what it’s worth, I think the suits look pretty glamorous, wise, with the default red and black tones, and lots of edgy weapons.
henchman
Currently, Nuts Member Store offers two types of followers. The first is the little platypus, a cute platypus. This minion will eat from your hand with the emoticon /handover, and will jump around excitedly if you /feed it.
Clockwork Numou looks like a children’s stuffed toy. Unlike Duckbill, Nu Mou needs to be equipped with the Mammeteer title to show you off. This will allow you to call the minion to eat what you have to offer, shaking its head from side to side and wagging its floppy ears as you stroke it.
Both minions need 800 bags of seeds.
housing and music
The Crystarium featured dummy (above) is a level 80 dummy that you can use as outdoor furniture for your abode. Nothing fancy, just an ordinary wooden pole like the one they used to train The First. It’s cheap, only 300 seeds.
It is worth noting that this outstanding effigy is for sale. In theory you could list it on the market board and potentially earn some coins depending on your server supply and demand.
If you like the music introduced in Shadowbringers, you’ll remember Rencounter as the song that plays when you join the battle in the Norvrandt area. It also appears in several Shadowbringers trailers. Listen to the music here.
Even if you’re not a fan of it (or if you’re just sick of it), you might still want to add it to your orchestra collection, as it’s relatively inexpensive at 300 bags of beads.
Mountain
Forgiven Reticence Horn summons a majestic steed that you can recognize from the main scenario quest in Shadowbringers; it was the great lion-shaped sin-eater that hung around Lord Vauthry’s chambers.
I have to say it’s a lot bigger than I thought, so you’ll want to save your money on this one if you want to get your hands on your eyeballs. This is a high-priced item (3200 grains), so unless you’re really committed to finding trains on your server, it’s going to take some time.
equipment upgrade
If you’re in a hurry to buy your premium gear, or if you’ve bought all the decorations you want, you can save your remaining bag of chestnuts for the following.
Deepshadow Twine and Deepshadow Coating will upgrade the left and right parts of your i460 respectively to get a Deepshadow i470 Augmented device.
You will notice that twine is 1.5 times more expensive than coating. However, if you buy the twine and the man-made coin coating, they cost the same. Therefore, the best strategy is to first use Nuts to buy overlays, then use The Copied Factory’s weekly rewards to get the ropes.
If you need battle materials, you can get level VII and VIII battle materials here, but in my opinion the price is too high compared to other sources, I only recommend buying these if you no other costs. .
Remember to check the market board before buying ingredients, especially if you need a less common ingredient like skill speed or spell speed. You’re better off buying a gil that sells more in the market and using that gil to buy the ingredients or materials you want to get.
Alternatively, you can spend your extra Beads buying Tier VII materials and gamble with Mutamix Bubblypots in Central Thanalan to try and get some crafting or collecting materials that normally sell for a higher price.
summary
Hopefully you’ve decided what you want to save your money for. Sacks of Nuts are hard to come by and you may find it easier to pace yourself and set goals to get what you want.
