Additionally, Paramount+ has previously announced that it will adopt features previously in the form of TV series, including Flashdance, The Italian Job, Love Story, and The Parallax View.
Alexandra Cunningham, creator, writer and executive producer of the series, told Deadline:
The film’s creator, James Dearden, said: “As usual melancholy, not dramatic and not as lonely as I would have liked, but under the pressure of a really demanding job, I wanted us to go. follow a slightly different path”.
She went on to say:
“This ‘Fatal Attraction’ reimagining has a lot in common with the iconic original, but it’s also about midlife entitlement and crisis, and how some sausages are made in the system. our broken judiciary, group B personality disorder, father-daughter isolation, and murder.”
She went on to say:
“It’s about how some individuals can’t accept victory. It’s about self-esteem and what we will do to protect it and what happens when someone lacks it. And if we had done our job, these performers and their colleagues certainly did, they believe your feelings will change a lot.”
On April 30, 2023, the first season of Fatal Attraction will air on Paramount+.
