The 24-year-old influencer recently celebrated her third anniversary on the social media platform and has amassed nearly 15 million followers.
However, there is a debate going on in the comments section of a video accusing her of putting on a fake accent and personality in her videos.

The clip in question began circulating at the end of February and purports to show Mikayla in college. In it, her “real voice” doesn’t have the instantly identifiable accent she displays in her TikTok videos.
Fans and critics duke it out in the comments section, and many have strong opinions.
“I KNEW IT,” one person responded to the implications that Mikayla was a fraud.
“I’d keep an eye on her if she sounded like that,” another said.
Another person implied that “his voice is always different in every video I watch.”
However, many fans pointed out that the video alone doesn’t prove anything.
For starters, many reminded viewers that the video was recorded for work and that she could have used a more “professional” sounding voice.
