Faheem Saleh was a 33-year-old American entrepreneur and computer programmer. He was the CEO and co-founder of Gokada, Pathao and Jo-Bike. He was murdered in his 7th floor apartment in Manhattan on July 13, 2020.

Faheem Saleh was born on Friday, December 12, 1986 (age 33 at the time of death) in Saudi Arabia.
In 1991, when Faheem was four years old, his parents moved to the United States in search of a better life and to provide their children with a quality education.
Faheem was a brilliant, curious, energetic and happy-go-lucky child since childhood, who developed a passion for technology at an early age. Whenever his parents brought him new toys, he would take them apart to learn how they were made.
He started several online projects in his early teens and became financially independent by the time he reached 9th grade. He spent his money to complete his further education. In 2009, Faheem graduated from Bentley University.

Since childhood, Faheem saw his father struggling to earn a living in America. He became determined to alleviate his father’s difficulties. At the age of 10, he used to buy candies from a local shop and sell them at a higher price to his classmates. After doing this for a few days, Faheem asked her father to buy her a jewelry making kit as a birthday gift. Using jewelry making kits, he would make beaded bracelets and necklaces and then sell them at his neighborhood playground. This was his second business. Later, he learned about the Internet and taught himself computer programming. At the age of 12 he created his first website using programming language. He soon discovered that he could also earn money by creating websites. So, he created many online projects and started earning a good amount of money. Pranks and surprises were a major part of his hobbies. While studying in high school, he started a prankster website, prankdial.com, through which users could initiate prank calls to people. Prankdial had earned him more than $10 million by 2018.
In 2015, he launched a digital platform called Pathao, which provides on-demand vehicle sharing, food delivery, logistics, and payment services. By 2020, the company was providing its services in major cities of Bangladesh and Nepal and had approximately 100000 drivers and 1200 employees working under it. In January 2018, he collaborated with a Nigerian entrepreneur and launched Gokada, a motorcycle taxi company that offers its services in Nigeria.
By March 2019, Gokada had significantly expanded its business in Nigeria and had raised $5.3 million.

Death
On July 13, 2020, Faheem returned from a three-mile run and was murdered in his apartment in Manhattan. The next day his body was found, which had been cut into pieces and thrown into the dustbin. Police arrested his former 21-year-old executive assistant, Tyrese Haspill, in connection with his murder.
