Spamalot is returning to Broadway in the fall and we’ve just learned that Ethan Slater will be part of the cast.
You may know that Ethan has been making headlines a lot over the last few weeks due to his attachment to Ariana Grande, his Wicked co-star. They are apparently dating, and both separated from their spouses this year as well.

Ethan will be taking on the role of The Historian/Prince Herbert. Also starring are James Monroe Iglehart as King Arthur, Leslie Rodriguez Kritzer as The Lady of the Lake, Jimmy Smagula as Sir Bedevere, Michael Urie as Sir Robin, and Nik Walter as Sir Galahad. Ethan previously performed on Broadway in the SpongeBob SquarePants musical, for which he was nominated for a Tony.
Ethan Slater‘s wife Lilly Jay broke her silence on the Ethan/Ariana relationship last month. Ethan also filed for divorce in July 2023 amid news that he is dating Ariana. Ethan and his estranged wife have one son together, born in August 2022.
Spamalot is set to be a limited engagement on Broadway and will officially open on November 16, 2023.
