The trailer for Julia Roberts and Ethan Hawke’s new apocalyptic thriller, Leave the World Behind, has been released!
The Oscar-winning actress is also producing the film, based on Rumaan Alam’s novel of the same name.

Here’s a full synopsis: Amanda (Roberts) and her husband, Clay (Hawke), rent a luxurious house for the weekend with their children, Archie (Charlie Evans) and Rose (Farrah Mackenzie). Their vacation is soon turned upside down when two strangers, GH (Mahershala Ali) and his daughter Ruth (Myha’la), arrive in the night, bringing news of a mysterious cyberattack and seeking refuge in the house they say is theirs. The two families face an impending disaster that grows more terrifying by the minute, forcing everyone to accept their place in a collapsing world.
