Emmy Rossum weighs in on the almost unbelievable age difference between her and Tom Holland in ‘Crowded Room’

Emmy Rossum plays Tom Holland’s mother in the crowded roomand recently opened up about the almost unbelievable age gap between the actors.

If you didn’t know, the Shameless Star is 36 and Tom just turned 27. That means there was less than 10 years between the two characters.

Did Emmy care about getting caught up in the situation? She chimed in during an interview.

Speaking with ET, Emmy wasn’t all that surprised by the casting decision.

“It makes sense when I read the script,” he explained. “Candy is a super young mom, she’s almost a kid in her own right when she gets pregnant at 16. You look at how I age from 25 to 35, which is actually younger than I am now.”

He added that he “loved all my scenes”, especially the ones with Zachary Golinger, who played a younger version of the Tom character.

“Our relationship was so beautiful and I knew everything we had that I had lost in the scenes with Tom. [It] It was a lot of fun,” he said.

If you missed it, Tom recently talked about what Spiderman the film is the best… And it wasn’t one of his. He also spoke about the role “absolutely tearing it up”.
