In her latest Instagram post, Parker opened up about the cause of the medical emergency. “As I sit here processing and recovering from the first few weeks of 2024, the only word that comes to mind is gratitude,” she wrote.
Ashley Park later shared that while celebrating the holidays, she ended up with tonsillitis. However, the situation quickly led to critical septic shock. She pointed out that this condition infected and affected several of her organs. “I’m grateful that my health has improved despite what we were initially told,” she continued.
Park also thanked her boyfriend, Paul Forman, for being by her side throughout the ordeal. “You calmed my fears and kept me in ambulances, three foreign hospitals, a week in the ICU, terrifying emergency rooms, countless scans, tests and injections, excruciating pain and so much confusion,” she said. “All while we were alone on the other side of the world, far from those we know. I love you Pablo. “More than I can ever say.”

Meanwhile, Ashley Park stated that she was incredibly grateful to all the ICU doctors and nurses who worked tirelessly on her.
“Especially the [Joali Being] team for responding immediately,” he shared. “And stay with me to provide language translations and life support. Infinite thanks to my personal team of heroes at home who were on call with the insurance, to Paul, my parents and the doctors at all hours.”
Although she was open about what happened to her, Ashley Park admitted she wasn’t sure about sharing details. “I am in full recovery,” she explained. “But now I know I’m safe on the other side of the worst.”
He then thanked his followers for reading his post. “I’m sorry I’ve been so absent recently,” she added. “To so many people in my life. I love you all. “I’m recovering and I promise I’ll be fine.”
