Eleonora’s Poleblade is a Twinblade in Elden Ring that inflicts high blood loss buildup and deals both physical and fire damage. In order to unlock Eleonora’s Poleblade, the player must defeat the Invader Eleonora, Violet Bloody Finger, either by completing the Bloody Finger Hunter Yura Questline or by visiting the Second Church of Marika in the Altus Plateau region in Elden Ring. To reach this location, head north from the Altus Highway Junction Site of Grace, and when the road turns right, head left, and the tower of the Church will be visible in the distance.
Enter the Second Church of Marika, and an Invader Eleonora, Violet Bloody Finger, will spawn; she will use her pole blade against the player which inflicts blood loss. She will also occasionally cast Dragon Incantations, so players should be cautious of her next move. Elenora is easy to stagger and doesn’t have much health. She will drop Eleonora’s Poleblade and the Purifying Crystal Tear upon defeating her.
Eleonora’s Poleblade requires 12 Strength Stat, 21 Dexterity Stat, and 19 Arcane Stat to wield. It scales primarily with Dexterity and Arcane, both at a D scaling, and has an E scaling for Strength. Somber smithing stones in Elden Ring are required to upgrade Eleonora’s Poleblade, and only the Dexterity Stat will receive an upgrade to its scaling after reaching +7 or higher, increasing it from D to C scale.
Where to Find the Second Church of Marika in Elden Ring
Eleonora’s Poleblade deals physical and fire damage, which inflicts blood loss build up and does high stagger. Making it an excellent choice for Endgame and High-Level PvP. Apart from its impressive stats, it also has a unique heavy attack, which can be used both one-handed and two-handed. The player performs a charged vertical spin, spinning the twin-blade along with them and hitting enemies with multiple lightning-fast slashes. This unique move causes high stagger and can easily break even the toughest of enemy stances.
Another great part about Eleonora’s Poleblade is the Ash of War “Bloodblade Dance,” a move with high stagger and high blood loss build-up. The player winds up and then jumps into the air, attacking with their Poleblade, then continues attacking once landing on the ground, hitting the enemy with an additional flurry of slashes. The attack animation will be extended by using the Action Skill Button a second time, adding another significant slash and a retreating backstep. Use this extended version of the Ash of War to dodge any enemy counterattacks.
