Dancing With The Stars alum Alexa PenaVega and her husband Carlos PenaVega do not mind increasing their brood. Alexa and Carlos have been married since January 2014 and are parents to three adorable kids, daughter Rio and sons Ocean King and Kingston James. Since Alexa and Carlos had their first child, they have been quite open about their roles as parents and the joy of having little ones to care for. In June 2021, the 33-year-old Sleepover star revealed that she and Carlos, 32, don’t have help raising Ocean, Kingston, and Rio. Instead, Alexa and her husband do the domestic work themselves as they believe in setting an exemplary standard for their children.
However, while parenting has been a wonderful experience for the stars, Alexa previously confirmed that things can sometimes get exhausting. The reality TV star once revealed that she had wished for a housekeeper to assist in watching over the kids and overseeing the house affairs. However, Alexa did not succumb to her desires because she wanted her children to master the act of independence. Despite all the chores that come with being parents, Alexa and Carlos remain big lovers of children.
Alexa confirmed that she is open to having more kids during an Instagram Question & Answer session with her fans. One fan asked Alexa if she and Carlos struggle with the idea of having more little ones, and she replied, “Nope.” Alexa added, “The world needs more kids who can be a light to others.” However, while kids can be very adorable, Alexa told her followers that she sometimes loses her patience as a mom and absolutely gets tested by her kids.
Alexa also confirmed that she is currently in a stage where parenting is challenging. She explained that her family is living on the boat during a refit, which is stressful for everyone, including the kids. She explained further, “I’d like to say no I don’t lose it. Or I’m always collected but the truth is I get frustrated. I have moments that I have to apologize for.” Alexa also said she’s always had a more calm approach to things in general before adding, “so me ‘losing it’ might not ‘look’ so bad but it’s what my heart feels that I’m not a fan of in the stressful moments.”
This is not the first time the Dancing With The Stars alum has opened up about her wonderful motherhood experiences. While the stress of parenting has made many adults stop making babies, Alexa’s recent comments show she will always choose children despite the pressures of raising them. If Alexa’s comments are anything to go by, fans won’t be surprised if she and Carlos announce a fourth pregnancy in the coming months or years. Whatever happens, the couple’s fans will hope they always find the strength they need to raise their kids the right way.
