Dash cam footage captured as good Samaritans sprang into action to help a man free himself from his burning car on a Minnesota highway.
The selfless team heroically rescued the driver, snatching him from the jaws of death moments before tragedy could strike. The images of the daring rescue of the driver from the burning car reached X (formerly Twitter).

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the driver lost control of his Honda on I-94 near Snelling Avenue, crashed into a streetlight and burst into flames around 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
One witness called the daring rescue “the scariest moment of my life”
The video documents the dramatic rescue of an elderly driver and shows how Kadir Tolla and others pulled their vehicles aside on the highway to help. Tolla, on her way to work in St. Paul, arrived at the scene just after the car crashed and caught fire. He soon realized that the driver might be trapped inside.
βIt was like the scariest moment of my life. This is something I will never forget. I will always remember this,β Tolla told FOX9.
Dash camera footage captures Tolla, dressed in a gray shirt and white sneakers, along with other witnesses, making concerted efforts to open the doors. Tolla placed his foot against the railing for leverage as he pulled on the back door.
When this effort was unsuccessful, he quickly went to the roadside and picked up a piece of plastic to break the window.

However, despite his efforts, he did not succeed. Shortly afterward, a Minnesota Department of Transportation truck arrived and a state official joined the situation.
The driver was rescued moments before the flames engulfed his car.
Flames surged outwards, causing the crowd to hastily retreat, causing some spectators to fall to the pavement.
As tension escalated, a Department of Transportation employee broke the glass, allowing the group to pull the man out the window.
In a daring rescue, they pulled him to safety, narrowly escaping as flames engulfed the driver’s side. Surprisingly, state officials confirmed that the driver did not suffer serious injuries. He was immediately transported to Regions Hospital for a thorough evaluation.
Meanwhile, the accident caused a grass fire that firefighters quickly put out.
βThat could be me someday. What if I was in that situation and my life was in the hands of strangers I don’t even know? Tolla said.
